I was struck by this item in the latest edition: the Southwark Park Fireworks Event was attended by twenty-thousand people, and no crimes or injuries were reported.
Isn't that wonderful?
More good news: compared with 2012, crime in 2013 in Bermondsey & Rotherhithe was down one per cent, reports the police, and anti-social behaviour incidents decreased by nine per cent.
